She was predeceased by: her parents, Dante Schiavone and Helen Schiavone; her husband Richard E. Underwood; and her siblings, Helen Marie Schiavone and Dr. Robert Schiavone.
She is survived by: her children, Martin Dante Underwood and Dr. Amy K. Underwood (Mark Neighbors); her grandchildren, Rowan Hubbuch and Lachlan Hubbuch; and her siblings, Daniel Schiavone (Brenda), Mary Ellen Kolles and Tina Schiavone. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church (1816 Rangeland Rd, Louisville, KY 40219). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1818 Rangeland Rd, Louisville, KY 40219).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St. Ignatius Martyr.
