With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Maupin of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Gumbel and Minnie Gumbel; her husband Joe Maupin; her siblings, Ruth Jecker, Doris Goodman and Bob Gumbel; and her daughter-in-law Lori Maupin.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Maupin, Jr. (Robin), Tom Maupin (Morgan), Judy Rogers (Wes), Jim Maupin, John Maupin (Jane) and Dan Maupin (Pam); her grandchildren, Niki, Taylor, Graham, Lindsay, Bobby, Jillian, Maggie, Abigail, Ali, Zach, Emily, Holly, Henry, Harry and Hazel; her great grandchildren, Adam, Claire, Mei, Kenji, Hannah, Caroline and Calen; and her brother Jack Gumbel (Jane). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
