She was predeceased by: her mother Fannie Greenfield Sears of Greenville, KY.; her husbands, Lonnie Unerwood and Herb Riggs; and her brother Wilbur Sears. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Anne Knight (Jeff) and Michael Sears Riggs (Loretta); her grandchildren, Aaron Riggs, Michael Kimbro, Peyton VanMeter and Maylee Anne Knight; and her great grandchildren, Lucy, James Kimbro and Niko Knight Loredo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Martha has requested that donations be made to Kosair Charities Crusade for Children and Hosparus.
