She was predeceased by: her parents, Newman Kohl and Catherine Kohl; her husband Delano Sangalli (Sam); and her sister Dorothy Irby (Dotty). She is survived by: her sons, Paul Sangalli and Thomas Sangalli; her granddaughters, Sarah DiChiara (Ryan) and Katherine Sangalli (Brooke); and her great grandchild Emmett Kohl DiChiara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Katy's honor can be to the Nazareth Home.
