With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Diane Searcy of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mary Diane find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by : her father David Flinn; her stepfather Phillip Krider; and her sisters, Belinda Thomas, Patricia Frashure and Pam Bowling.

She is survived by : her mother Kathleen Krider; her husband Gilbert Searcy, Jr.; and her daughters, Mary Asbury (Ricky), Pamela Fritsch (Dan Gale) and Rebecca Townsend (Brandon). She is also survived by 6 siblings, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
