It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Staten (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Parr (Cowherd) and Harry Parr; her husband William Thomas Staten; and her grandson Mark Carter II. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey P. Staten (Melinda) and Stacy Carter (Mark); and her brother-in-law Joe Staten. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
