She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Thomas and Clarice "Burris" Thomas; her husband Uriel Sparks; her granddaughter Sabra Scroggin; and her siblings, Reesor Thomas (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Jackson (Bill) and Ovalee Compton (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her children, Laura Scroggin (Wade) and Steve Branham; and her grandson Landon Scroggin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A burial was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at the Brookland Cemetery.
