With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maudrine Quarles (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carter, Marion Carter, Rollie Carter Jr., Nora Lee Forest, Claudia Mae Cates and Dorothy Christine Reed; and her son James Mitchell Quarles.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Ann Webb, George Quarles (Wanda Quarles), Marilyn Shumake (Michael Shumake), Sharon Johnson and Emmanuel Quarles; and her sister Zenita Lynn Stephens (Eric Stephens). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
