He is survived by: his wife Lou Jean Pierce (Henson) of Louisville; his sons, Matthew Lynn "Matt" Pierce (Bui Barinda) of Louisville, KY and Robert Michael Pierce (Stephanie) of Nort Port, FL; his sisters, Susan Belcher of Cadiz, KY and Sharry Carlisle of Murray, KY; and his grandchildren, Waylon, Eli, Thea and Haley Pierce.
