She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus Tackett; her daughter Gail Tackett; and her siblings, Homer Newsome, Junior Newsome, Corbett Newsome and Dixie Looney.

She is survived by: her son Jimmy Tackett (Terri); her granddaughter Nichole Tackett-Gosney (Don); her great grandchildren, Brianna Mann (Connor), Logan Bronke, Hunter Bronke, Emily Gosney and Katie Gosney; her great great grandchild River Mann; and her brother Hillard Newsome.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Nadine's name are greatly appreciated.
