He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Joyce Welsh; and his mother-in-law Patricia Ann Petrucci. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Welsh; his sons, Ethan and Ronin Welsh; his father Robert Welsh; his siblings, Chris (Lisa), Alex (Lynn), Greg Welsh, Kathleen Mayfield and Mary Ann Wertz (Cody); and his sister-in-law Kim Evans (Michael). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society.
