Nolan Jewell Obituary
We bid farewell to Nolan Jewell of Louisville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Nolan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Jewell and Florence I Jewell (Stucker); his brothers, Jesse and Melvin Jewell; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Jewell (Radcliffe) and Betty Jewell (Hogue).
He is survived by: his children, John Jewell (Cathy), Mark Jewell (Martha), Renee Pierce (Patrick), Jack Glasser (Brenda) and Rich Glasser. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
Interment will follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery 4400 Bardstown Rd. In honor of Nolan's World War II service and Hosparus' care, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) or Hosparus (hosparushealth.org).
