She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Robert Mefford (Buck) and Beulah Jean Reynolds; and her spouse Dale Lee Phelps. She is survived by: her siblings, James Mefford (Buck Jr.) and Norma Crain; her son Aaron Scot Phelps; and her granddaughters, Summer Nicole Phelps and Faith Evelyn Phelps.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Last Supper Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
