Regenia Newnum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regenia Newnum of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Woosley and Helen Marie Woosley (Preston); and her son Sandy Boyd. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Boyd, Carrie L. Newnum (Stephanie), Tarri D. Darnall (Travis), Sherry Lawrence (James) and April Wilson (Brandon); her grandchildren, Tristian, Hailey (Macy), Noah, Hunter and Bracher; her great grandchildren, Cole, Aili and Asher; and her sisters, Doris Morris, Rita Crain, Debbie Newnum and Peggy Jump.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to be made in Jeanie's memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
