He was predeceased by: his parents, Ywell Sparks and Irene Sparks; and his siblings, Pam Greer and Wayne Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Sparks (Heise); his sons, Ricky A. Sparks and Mark Anthony Spencer; his sister Lisa Cheatham (Willie); and his grandchildren, Savannah, Eli, Gracie, Dallas, Wyatt and Ryleigh. He is also survived by several nephews and friends.
A reception was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272).
