With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Blakely Sr. of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert P. Blakely; his son Richard L. Blakely; and his siblings, Harold Blakely and Peggy Walker. He is survived by: his children, Robin Reynolds (Roy), Robert "Bob" Blakely Jr., Ronald Blakely (Susie), John Martin and William Martin (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Maggie Blakely; his sister Shirley Coomer; his grandchildren, Kathy King (Jim), Bobby Blakely III (Melissa), Brandy Bridges (Jim), Amy Marks (Travis), Cindy Reynolds, Jody, Kevin, Steve, Daniel, Sarah, Jeff, Alan, Hannah, Tyler, John Jr., Hailey and Kristine; his great grandchildren, Paul Burke (Nancy), Leah Burke and Ben Burke; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hosparus and/or the Audubon Park United Methodist Church, in honor of Robert.
