He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kupper Shaw; his children, Dr. Robert Shaw, III (Leslie), William Shaw (Theresa), Dr. Monica Ann Shaw, Mark Shaw (Laura), Patricia Vittitow (Ed), Judge Mary Shaw and Jane St Clair; and his sister Patricia Lassiter. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
