She was predeceased by: her siblings, Denise Edwards, Rev. Herbert D. Smith and Tyrus Mozee; and her stepdaughter Torie Myers. She is survived by: her husband Allen Myers, Jr.; her siblings, Cleadia Williams, Sandra Hayes, Veronica Thompson, Sharon Smith, Laura Mozee-Brown (Maurice), Frances Pimpleton (Marvin), Rev. John H. Smith, Jr. (Sharon), Rev. Virgil Mozee (Robin) and Rev. Marvin M. Pimpleton Sr. (Frances); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Williams and Doug Myers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dayspring Missionary Baptist Church (1111 S 8th St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
