She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie Etta Brown and Leon Curtis Turner; her husband Clyde Hamm; her brother Leon Curtis Turner Jr.; and her granddaughter Rebekah Haynes.
She is survived by: her son John Hamm MD (Luisa); her grandchildren, Clay Haynes, Alycia Rivard (Isidro Yebra), Justin Rivard, Christina Hamm (Nilakshan Ganeshalingam), Sarah Hamm, David Hamm (Elise) and Andrew Hamm; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan Downing, David, Daniel Yebra, Anaya Ganeshalingam and Remi Hamm; and her sister Betty Thurman.
