The memory of Sadie Mae Mitchell of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Pulaski, Tennessee, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Gardner and Mamie P. Brown (Samuel Mitchell, Sr.); her sons, Samuel Mitchell, Jr. (Delores), John Henry Mitchell (Patricia) and Paul Wayne Mitchell; her siblings, Robert Caldwell, Willie Wheeler, Henry Lee Wheeler, Jerry Wheeler, Robbie Gill, Inez Madry and Mary Ella Benson; and her stepsister Patsy Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Mitchell, Gwendolyn Mitchell and Terry Mitchell (Adriane); her stepson Michael Varnado; and her stepsiblings, Martha Ann Johnson and William Brown. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, and a host of Great-Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren.
The family requests that contributions in Sadie's memory be made to Ralph Avenue AME Church.
