She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Pettit. She is survived by: her sister Regina Thompson; her sibling's children, Leo, Paula, Donald Dixon (Carol), John Dixon (Janice), Tom Jones (Rick) and Wendell Jones (Freda); her great-nephew Jason; her niece Cathy Whalen (Victor); and also, Gage and Kelli.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at the Middletown Historical Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be expressed with donations to Hosparus or Crusade for Children (Lyndon Fire Department).
