As we bid Sylvia Bradford farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sylvia Bradford is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas King and Elnora King; her children, Leticia Bradford Mohamed, Natalie Bradford and Christopher Bradford; her grandchildren, Chloreesa Bradford and Alexander James Spillman; her siblings, Delilah Drye, Vanessa Goodloe and Gerald King; and her stepchildren, Joe Bradford Jr. and April Bradford Walker (Darren). She was also cherished by the stepmother to her then husband's two other children.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Arch L. Heady (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
