He was predeceased by: his father Billy James "BJ" Allen; and his brother Nathan Allen. He is survived by: his wife Ashley Allen (Christian); his sons, Clayton and Camden; his mother Lisa Allen (Cissell); and his grandmother Helen Cissell.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Carriage House Educational Service and Preschool, which is the nonprofit preschool where his sons attend.
