He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Janice Sutton, Fannie Smith and Sturgin Sutton, Sr.. He is survived by : his parents, Velvin B. Smith Sr. and Charlette Smith; his sons, Anthony and Ayden Smith; his sister Jaylin Smith; his friends, Kendrick Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Tevon Rawls and Nehemiah Reese; his aunts, Schimia Sutton and Natia Stinson; and his uncle Sturgin Sutton.

Due to COVID-19 regulations the funeral is limited to 50 people.
