It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Suzanne Sydow in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lieutenant Robert M. Sydow; and her sister Judy. She is survived by: her sister Ruth McKay (Howard) of Collierville, TN; her children, Catherine Kelley (Daniel), Barbara McCallum of Louisville, Robert Sydow (Leslie) of Cincinnati and Dana Johnson (Neil) of Brentwood, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Caroline, Elizabeth Kelley, Michael, Mark McCallum (Stefanie), John (Alyssa), Emily Sydow, Robert and Catherine Johnson; and her great grandchild Knox Sydow.
Sue was a founder of the first Alzheimer's day care center in Memphis.
