He is survived by: his children, Vickie Porter, Eric Porter (Shelly), Walter Porter, III, Jonathon Porter and Valene Porter; and his sister Gladys Daniel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. D. Porter and Sons Funeral Home - Downtown (1300 W Chestnut St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
