With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Mae Howell of Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jesse Ballard and Dorothy Pearl Hargrave; her siblings, James Hancock Ballard, Rebecca Jane Ballard and Joseph Jesse Ballard II; her children, Matthew, Martha and Mark; her husband Thomas Richard Howell; her granddaughter Shelby Lynn Johnson; and her pet Whiskers.

She is survived by: her daughter Michelle DeWitt Johnson (Bobby R. Johnson, Jr.); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Chaddic (Mark Anthony Pierce), Cody Micheal Johnson (Tatum Skye Noel) and Jace Daniel DeWitt; her great grandchildren, Zakota Lane Johnson, Miles Anthony Pierce and Skye Lynn Johnson; and her pet Dexter Morgan. She is also survived by her family, friends.
