He was predeceased by: his siblings, Irene, Pearline, Roseanne, Joe, Vernon, Isabelle and David.

He is survived by: his children, Lanita Gant (Howard), Nicole Collier, Vaque Bryant (Tasha) and Acquel Bryant; and his siblings, Josephine Palen, Jesse Mae Green, Robert Bryant (Silver) and Jerry Bryant. He is also survived by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
