He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Anne Weber; his grandson Aaron Stone; and his son-in-law Rod Wideman. He is survived by: his wife Rita; and his children, Cindy Gilliam (Steve), Cheri Keith (Mark), Nancy Wideman, Susan Strange (George), Mike Stone (LouAnn) and Eddie Stone. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Foundation or Kosair Shriners.
