He is survived by: his children, Angela Miller (Mark), Dennis Hammond (Kimberly), Melissa Campos (Alan) and William "Bill" Hammond (Morgan); his grandchildren, Tayler, Sean, Rebecca (Aubrey), Dennis (Alyssa), Brayden (Gabrielle), Matthew, Logan, Caleb, Caroline, Adalynn, Reese and Oliver; his great grandchildren, Koda, Brooklyn, Calvin, Laker and Hayden; his brother Terry Hammond (Julie); his nephew Andy; and his pet Max.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home East Louisville (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
