It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Mobley Mahan Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mobley Mahan, Sr. and Jean DeZonia Mahan; his wife Suzanne Barnes Mahan; his son William Mobley Mahan, III; his brothers, John Forrester Mahan and Thomas DeZonia Mahan; and his stepson Michael Hopper.
He is survived by: his daughter Lesley Mahan Thomas (Robert); his granddaughter Madalyn Suzanne Thomas; his sister Sis Mahan Spencer; his sister-in-law Diana Fister Mahan; his nephew John Forrester Mahan Jr.; his niece Caroline Elizabeth Mahan; and his stepsons, Joseph and Andrew Hopper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
