He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose "Rosie" Elizabeth McGregor Holzhauser and Samuel "Sam" Lee Holzhauser; his siblings, Loqueda Joy Holzhauser, Helen Louise Holzhauser, Albert Holzhauser, Nick Holzhauser, Evelyn Lucille Blackburn Sandefur and Margie Comacho; and his nephew Terry Holzhauser.
He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Tyrie of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Andrew Browning, Kristina Maddox, Rachel Carty and Kayla Tyrie; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Maddox, Steven Starr, Maliyah Starr and Hannah Maddox.
