He is survived by : his wife Nancy Jean Samons Amburgey; his daughters, Shirlin Rose (Tommy) of Martin, KY and Nancy Lynn Rose (Donald) of Martin, KY; his grandchildren, Nick Halbert (Kayla), Dustin Allen (Frankie), Tiffany Carroll (Benji), Shayla Rose (James) and Andrea Samons; his great grandchildren, Colton Carroll, Brantley Halbert and Kimber Halbert; and his sister Connitis Carver of Printer, KY..
