She was predeceased by : her sons, Richard and Timmy Gilford; her siblings, Jesse Smith and Alma Buckingham; and her parents, Alford Leonard and Lottie Elizabeth Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Gilford of Gibson County, TN, Sheila Ann Gilford of Mayfield, KY, Linda Gilford Piper (Raymond) of Farmington, KY and Crystal Gilford Forrester (Josh) of Mayfield, KY; and her brother Leonard Smith of Hickory, KY. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
