Virgil P. Compton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil P. Compton (Mayfield, Kentucky), who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Givens Compton; his siblings, Sammy Douglass Compton, Billy Randall Compton, Everett Eugene Compton and Maude Evelyn Mussells; his grandchild Jennifer Compton; and his parents, Eddie Compton and Gracie Collins Compton.
He is survived by: his friend Judy Elaine Snyder of Hickman County; his daughters, Sonja White of Paducah, KY and Pam West of Mayfield, KY; and his sisters, Rilda M. Hayes of Yuma, AZ and Vicky Snodgrass (Kent) of Monroe, MI. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
