It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Shields DeAtley (Maysville, Kentucky), who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Shields; and her husband Harold "Whitey" DeAtley. She is survived by: her children, Barb Payne (Steve) of Aberdeen, Stacey Harmon (James) of Maysville, Darrell "Shag" DeAtley (Tina) of Maysville and Richard "AJ" DeAtley, Jr. of Maysville; her grandchildren, Brandon Payne, Natasha Love (Scotty), Bradley Cropper, Matthew DeAtley, Wesley DeAtley (Ashley), Amber May, Ashley Waters, Austin DeAtley and Maddie (Xander Harmon); and her close friend Ronnie Adkins. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and several great-grandchildren.
