With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Faye Strausbaugh of Maysville, Kentucky, born in Mason, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilson Claypoole and Thelma Purcell Claypoole; and her brothers, Charles Claypoole, Clyde Claypoole and Bobby Claypoole.

She is survived by : her daughters, Melissa Lynch (Darrell) and Sherry Thompson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Heather Massey (Eric), Kimberly Dailey, Kyle Lynch (Sam), Haley Lowe (Clint), Lexie Thompson, Hunter Thompson and Shelby Thompson; and her brother John Claypoole (Charlotte). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
