He was predeceased by: his brother John S. Ford; his wife Mary McCarthy Ford; his grandparents, Dan Lloyd and Gussie Lloyd; and his son John Allen Ford.

He is survived by: his children, Katherine Ford Story (Bill), Michael T. Ford, James F. Ford and Robert Ford (Steven). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Patrick High School or the Marine Corps Foundation.
