It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Temple Brooks Hale (Maysville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father James Benjamin; her husband Virgil Juett Hale; her son Jay Benjamin Moore; her grandson Robert Moore, Jr.; her great grandchild Leslie Ann Temple Blankenship; and her siblings, Charles, Amos, Bill, George "Rusty" Brooks, Edith Mallory Nancy Johnson and Virginia Webb.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Lee Moore (Jackie), Crystal Lynn Lowery (Wayne), Susan Raye Hopkins (Ryann) and Lisa Ann Burton; her stepchildren, Elmer Rae Burton (Lola) and Dorvel Mack Burton; and her siblings, Nowanna Bisotti (Virgil), Ann Gray (Paul), Harry Brooks and Wendell Brooks. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
