She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Lee Carty of Means; her parents, Lacey Risner and Laura Clemons Risner; her son Roy Carty; her sister Imogene Burke; and her grandson Richard Dicky Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Sparks, Glenna Fugate (John), Inez Yarber (David) and Randy Carty (Regina); her grandchildren, Laura Ballard (Anthony), Barry Carty (Kelly), Garry Carty (Katie), Johnathan Fugate (Lisa), David Carty (Crystal), Marsha Sexton and Amanda Miesse (Mark); and her brother William Sparks. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
