He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Smith Grooms; and his parents, Charlie Grooms and Mamie Windsor Grooms. He is survived by: his children, Randy Grooms (Iona) of Mayfield, KY and Charlotte Ann Cruse (Tommy) of Melber, KY. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
