She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Fuson and Neil Carter Fuson; her stepmother Ella Fuson; her daughter Myra J. Brooks; her granddaughter Amanda Sumpter; her siblings, Edward Fuson, Bill Fuson and Margaret Barnes; and her stepbrother Lonnie Beeler.
She is survived by: her significant other Clyde W. Brooks; her daughter Valerie Sumpter (Jim); her half-brothers, David Fuson (Mary) and Rodney Fuson; and her stepsiblings, Bill Beeler (Sharon) and Mary Evans. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
