She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jackson and Matilda Willis Jackson; her husband Bud Owens; and her children, John Willie "Bill" Owens, Ralph Owens, Nadine Partin and JoAnn Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Turner (Dennie) of Chenoa and Willard Owens of South Carolina; her daughters-in-law, Sarah Owens and Florine Owens; and her close friend Charlise Willis. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
