We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, Ballard Sweeney of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Jewel Dean Chambers Sweeney; his parents, Frank Sweeney and Bertha Perkins Sweeney; and his siblings, Jim Sweeney, Robert "Bob" Sweeney, Ely "Tubby" Sweeney, Lucille Rainwater Perkins, Clara Jean Lewallen, Norma Edith Griffin, Sue Trammell and Dorothy Sweeney.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Griffin Sweeney; his daughters, Elaine "Cricket" Sweeney Wilburn (Kenny), Connie Powers (Carl) and Annette Cooper (Darren); his grandchildren, Michael Orin Wilburn (Katie), Henderson Clay Wilburn, Eli Clint Powers (Stacy) and Caden Sawyer Powers; his great grandchildren, Oakes Dean Wilburn and Winifred "Winnie" Jane Wilburn; his stepson Matthew Allen Mays (Brandi); his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Brandon Wilburn, Colyer Mayes and Isabella Mayes; and his brothers, Joe Harvey Sweeney and John Frank Sweeney (Pat). He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives.
