He was predeceased by: his parents, Chelis Stamper and Melda Mullins Stamper; his daughters, Pam Whisman and Teresa Stamper; his sister Wanda Cain; and his grandchildren, Brian Ballou and Stephanie King.

He is survived by: his wife Dee Stamper; his children, Joe Stamper (Angel), Jennifer Perriman (Scott) and Kimberly Stamper; his grandchildren, Sara Beth, Tinley Jo Stamper, Billie Neace, Jared Wofford, Zach Wofford, Derrick Robison and Dustin Montgomery; and his brother Jim Stamper (Jim "Mouse" Bradford). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
