He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Lynn Smith; his mother Martha R. Thompson; his grandmother Myra Smith; his uncle William Smith; his children, Darrell Smith of Danny Smith, II, Travis Smith, Kenneth Vanpelt, Loretta Ehlers, Barbara Markin and Elizabeth Hummel; and his siblings, Amanda Sewell, Shilia Rogers, Avery Smith, Wesley Smith Jr., Cynthia Butler, Frank Roper and Lacquicia Blair. He was also cherished by his 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and the many nieces, nephews, and other family members as well as a multitude of close friends.
