She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sowders and Mary Sowders; her husband Norman Duncan; and her daughter Sandy Adkins. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Johnson, Edith Chaffin and B. F. Sowders; her daughters, Kim Hobbs (Lin) and Renee Elliott; her grandchildren, Michael Adkins (Taylor), Matthew Adkins, Lindsey Hobbs, Christopher Hobbs, Lauren Elliott and Chase Elliott; her siblings, Faye Langford and Earl Sowders (Nina); her son-in-law Mike Adkins; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Bussell and Ann Duncan; and her friend Willa Mae Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
