He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Franklin Funk and Virginia Funk (Standifer). He is survived by: his daughter Dorothy Aker (David Funk); his brother James Funk (Judy) of Willard, Ohio.; his nephew Benjamin Funk of Columbus, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Matthew D. Sparks, Rebecca M. Sparks Phelps (David Phelps), Brandy M. Aker, Leanndra N. Aker and Gabriel A. Funk; his great grandchild Hayden L. Sparks; and his wife Gelena Funk (Saylor). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
The family would like for everyone to know that he did not pass away from Coronavirus (COVID-19).
