She was predeceased by: her parents, William Floyd and Maggie Partin; and her siblings, Mary Wilcox, Lucille Hatfield, Pearl and Dearl Shelby.

She is survived by: her daughter Cassandra Holt Browning; and her siblings, Willa Mae Smith, Lois Jean McKinney, Charles Shelby and Frank Shelby, Jr. (Hazel). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
