He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wooton and Irene Day Wooton; his grandparents, Chris Day (Delphi) and Irvin Wooton (Hallie); his stepmother Kathleen Wooton; and his siblings, Barbara Smith, Tammy Wooton, Debbie Jackson (Bob), Pam Howerton, Mark Wooton and Jeff Wooton.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Wooton; his daughter Paula Michelle Wooton; his stepdaughter Sherry Campbell (David); his siblings, Vickie Hamlet (Dennis), Robin Howerton, Johnny Wooton (Kathy) and Michael Wooton; his granddaughters, Danielle Spears (Bryan) and Julia McNew; and his great grandchildren, Mason Spears, Micah Spears, Samuel Spears, Mia Spears and Gunner Spears. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
